Phew, I finally got this campaign all together! For those that don’t follow my Facebook updates, I’ve been wanting to get a “Space Space Shooter” t-shirt design printed. As sort of an experiment, I’ve decided to launch a Kickstarter campaign to make this happen.

The campaign will run until Feb. 20. I’m hoping to hit my goal of $500 for it. For those unfamiliar with Kickstarter, you basically pledge money/back a project until its hits a desired goal. If the goal is not hit, no one who pledged gets charged and the campaign falls through. If the goal is met, those who pledged certain tiers of money will get some cool incentives. I’ve set up the incentives as follows for this project…

Anyone who backs with $10 or more will get a set of four 4″x6″ (inch) postcard prints of the design and previous shirt designs I’ve done. One of these postcards I will sign! In addition to this, you will receive a “Space Space Shooter” character sticker and 5 character button set.

Anyone who backs with $20 or more will get the post card set (one signed), and the other merchandise stated previously. In addition to this, you’ll a shirt (once printed) of this design in your choice of available color/size and an additional sticker.

Anyone who backs with $30 or more will get the merchandise in the $20 donation tier. In addition to this, you’ll get an extra sticker (three total), and a second set of 4 buttons from one of my other animations. Anyone donating in this tier level will also get a HAND-DRAWN & SIGNED PICTURE of one of the characters featured in my animations. These characters will be random as it would be hard to take requests via Kickstarter.

So as you can see, there are some cool items you can get by pledging!

The shirt itself, if it happens, will be printed on American Apparel Unisex and Womens in both Mauve and Seafoam colors. The sizes I’m shooting at printing on are listed in the Kickstarter itself.

I’ve been pondering about doing some small animated videocasts as well. Just an idea though.

I’m so happy I could scream! Maybe not THAT happy. Anyways, my animation for Disko Warp placed in the top 10 for the Halloween 2007 submisisons. I’m pretty happy about this. Big thanks to those who viewed it, voted, etc! This is what keeps me goin’~!

This is another collaboration with Disko Warp Records. This is a small story of a vampire and a girl strolling around the town. All the vampire wants to do is have a good time, but some people just don’t want to leave him alone!

The booth will feature two demo kiosks to listen to all the Disko Warp singles/remixes/etc… and I’ll have my laptop set up for people to watch my animations if they want. There’s also going to be a DJ gig from Disko Warp records on Saturday in the gaming room. This be a Eurobeat themed gig and should be pretty swell.

I’ll also have a sketchbook and some pens on hand to draw things and such for people. For those of you who are going, hope to see you there!

I’m in the process of putting it on Youtube. This animation is being published for Flash player 8. My previous works I published for Flash 6. So this is just a heads up for people to update their player if they haven’t already!
